Supplies You'll Need:

- Weft of 100% Human Hair
- Color Brush
- Tin Foil
- Green Semi-Permantent Hair Color
- Extension Glue
- Silicone Hair Beads
- Hair Extension Loop Tool
- Color Care Shampoo
- Hair Extension Pliers
Coloring the Hair Extension
- Take the hair weft and cut off a small section.
- Place the cut weft on tin foil.
- Squeeze a big glob of green semi-permanent color onto the hair weft.
- Grab the color brush and brush in the green color. *Make sure both sides of the hair weft are saturated.*
- Now let the hair sit on the foil for 20-30 minutes.
- Wash the green color out with a color care shampoo. *To set the color give the extension a cold water rinse after shampooing.*
- Dry the hair and repeat steps 2-6 for long lasting color.
- Once the hair is dry lay it flat down on the foil.

Making the Extension into Small Sections
- Now take the green hair weft and carefully cut a quarter inch section off.
- Take the section that was just cut and dab a small amount of hair extension glue to the top where the weft use to be.
- Rub the glue into the tip of the extension.
- While the glue dries mold it to a point.
- Repeat steps 1-4 until all the hair is cut from the weft.
Putting the Extensions In
- Part your hair where you want your hair extensions to show.
- Slice a small section of hair along the part line and pin it back. *The hair you pin back will eventually fall over the extensions, this will help blend the green extensions in.*
- Along the new part take a tiny section of hair. *This section should have the thickness of a toothpick.*
- Now take a silicone hair bead and string it onto the extension loop tool.
- Take the hair from step 3 and thread it through the loop tool.
- Pull the bead up the loop tool so that it goes over the hair. *This will pull the hair through the bead.*
- Once the hair is through the bead, pull the bead up and to the root.
- Take one green hair extension and thread the glued tip through the silicone bead.
- Make sure the extension and silicone bead are securely in place by your hair root.
- Flatten out the silicone bead with hair extension pliers. *This clamps the hair and hair extension together.*
- Depending on the length of your green extensions, you may have to trim them.
- Now your hair is ready to be styled!

Taking the Extensions Out
- So your extensions are ready to come out? Take the rigid part or the extension pliers and reopen the silicone bead.
- Save your extensions if they are still good. You can always dab a little bit of extension glue on the tip to reinforce them!
Taking Care of You're Hair Extensions
Depending on the quality of hair color you use, the extensions should last a week or two. I use Joico's VERO K-PAK for the green, but if you are not able to buy profesional color you should go to Sally's Beauty Supply. Sally's has Manic Panic which is a really good semi-permanent hair color. All semi-permanent color fades after every wash, but quality color is going to last.
