OPI'S new Euro Centrale line has some really beautiful colors. It was hard to choose which ones I wanted but I finally decided on two. The polish on the left is POLKA.COM which has blue, violet, and magenta sparkles. The polish on the right is YOU'RE SUCH A BUDAPEST which looks periwinkle in color. The nail polishes compliment each other nicely and look gorgeous!!

If you're like me and constantly paint your nails, then you probably have moments when your nails get stained with nail polish. Today I'm having one of those days. Instead of going to the store and spending money on a nail whitener, I have decided to do it the natural way with baking soda. First you fill a bowl with warm water and baking soda. Then you shake baking soda on your nails, soak them in the warm water, and scrub your nails with a nail scrub brush.
*If you have any cuts on your skin, cover them with vaseline. This will prevent the baking soda from irritating the cut.*

Want healthy nails and a healthy body? Make yourself a smoothie!! Smoothies are a great way to pack a lot of vitamins together for a delicious drink. I mixed a little bit of water with kale, spinach, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, frozen green grapes, and some flaxseed. Remember you are what you eat, so treat your body right and it will do the same in return!
*I try to freeze my own fruit. If you are going to do this, make sure the fruit you buy is ripe before you freeze it. *

Feathers are so much fun to play with. I love putting them in my hair, on my clothes, and even on my nails. This is a great DIY idea from Georgia King I found on pinterest. All you need is a base color for your nails and then some feathers. You can find different kinds of feathers at any craft store.

So I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my nails for Valentine's Day. Should I paint a fun heart pattern on my nails, or should I bedazzle my nails with jewels and 3d nail art? While I'm creating my design, I find these pinterest pictures to be inspiring, especially the last picture. I love loud blingy nails!

A big trend over the past year has been nail polish that cracks after you apply it. I've never been very successful with China Glaze's "Crackle" or OPI's "Shatter" before, but finally I was able to get the "Crackle" to work. The trick is to give yourself a manicure with regular polish and let it dry over night. Then, take the "Crackle" polish and quickly apply one coat. The polish can't be applied too thick or else it won't work very well.
The other type of cracking nail polish I have used is "Shatter," but the paint never cracked after applying it. The polish was very thick when I first opened it, and it dried out fast. In comparison, I've had this bottle of China Glaze "Crackle" for over a year and it still works!

*Follow these easy steps and create your own polka dot french manicure.*
First, paint your nails black and let them dry completely. Then use a dotting tool to dot silver polish along the tips. After that, dot white polish over the silver. With a smaller dotting tool, dot plack dots over the white. Now all you have to do is enjoy being fabulous!
